Eat. Trek. Drink. Shop. Pose.
(Baler for a non-surfer)
Incomplete but we're all good.
On our way to Baler, we stopped for  a quick photo op.

Where we stayed in Baler:
 Casa Lamierda
We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. We rented 3 rooms with two double beds each and and extra double bed. It can accommodate 4-6pax per room and we only payed 5k per night for all 3 rooms. It's a new place, it was just opened and operated by Trizha Abul just this year (2015). I can say it's well maintained and clean. There is a clingy dog,Lulu and a very accommodating owner (Trizha).
One of the best moment of the trip is when we have to climb the bakod to get into the house kasi the owner hang out with some of our friends in the bar. We're two groups and nauna kami umuwi,so we were there already with the gate locked and instead of waiting,we decided to climb instead. Wonderful experience! I had some bruises kasi I can hardly lift myself up,there is always this feeling na I might broke the bakod if I put much weight on it.
I'm not a surfer. Period.

I always have this feeling na I don't want to go to Baler kasi I can still remember all the pictures of my ex and the girl behind his cheating(2nd). But thus time, I don't have anywhere to go and with the hope of meeting new friends, I just said yes at the last hour. Literally.

It's been a while since our last out of town and I really miss hanging out with my friends. We just can hang out when we're in the office because of nosy coworkers and pakialamerang ninjas around us but one thing is for sure, when we got a chance, we seize it. A

So we went to Baler, they're excited about surfing and all. Well,I am not at all.

Truth be told, I was there for some instagram-worthy selfies, so here it is. ;)

This was taken at the Ermita Hills. Before this, we climb uphill for 20 minutes in a muddy rocky hill. Only to find out we can see the same view pala here in Ermita Hills. They enjoyed at the top of the lighthouse kahit naka-lock sya, what they did is-- trespass, climb over the gate and up to the lighthouse. Better safe than sorry for me. LOL
So we planned to have sunrise in our itinerary but we woke up late, it was drizzling but I still got a chance to get a shot of my "Good Morning Baler" picture.
Few minutes before we left Casa Lamierda, photo op muna with the girls and of course, Jarie-babe :)

Remember I told you about the vey difficult uphill trek to a muddy hill? Eto yun. See the afke smiles? We're good at it.
It's been a while since I last climbed a mountain. I might be doing it again real soon.. pag wala nang bagyo.. pag okay na ako.. which is malapit na for sure. :)

I just want to meet Noah's friends (LOL) and take lots of selfie. I don't even have clothes prepared for this so I just bought some two hours before we left Manila.

"It's okay to be impulsive din pala."

When we finally arrived in Baler, I was so thankful---I don't have any feeling of regrets nor do I have feelings of sadness because of sudden flashbacks. It's been a long journey (the pagmo-moveon and the way to B
aler) and I was so thankful I'm finally here. I've let go of all the anxiety I have and I embrace the new beginning, I'm travelling alone, not a solo traveler pero I'm travelling na I'm not with "someone special". It's refreshing. At first,I thought I really can't go to Baler without getting badtrip and all but it's different.

"You can never say you can't unless you're on it and ready to do it."

We've been to sobrang gandang ganda ako na falls talaga and maybe that's the reason why I don't appreciate falls in Baler at all. It looks just like what we have in my hometown in Batangas. Nothing fabulous, just a stream of cold water falling form the top. I don't have much picture kasi if it's not instagram-worthy then I won't take a picture for sure.

Baler is a good destination for surfers but for a non-surfer like me. Maybe I'll rate it 3 out of 5.
What I loved the most in our trip to Baler are my photos. :)

I obviously don't have a "Got-stoked" photo where I'm riding in some great waves of Baler pero I have lots of slefies na natuwa talaga ko.

Best Wishes Kuya Dansel and Dianne!

Not sure if it was ten years ago, but I'm sure it was my elementary days when I started having a CRUSH. And little did I know, I had a crush with one of my Tito(s).
I can still recall how I and my cousin, Les got teased because of very awkward actions we had back then when we saw Kuya Dansel looking like Erik Santos/ Jomari Yllana. Yes, Erik Santos. In my defense, sikat pa siya before becasue of Star in a Million and seeing someone who looks just like him is a different thing talaga and he's so accomodating. There's this set of kamag-anak na hindi ko maintindihan before kung paano kami naging related. All I know back then was that we often saw them sa church pag Sundays. Nagsisimba kami madalas before with my cousins. And no one told us how we're related to those group of kamag-anak(s) til one day nung nag-fiesta sakanila at pinakilala kami isa isa.
Yung poging nakita namin, tito ko pala. Haha! Naaalala ko pa kung paano kami nag-blush ni Les non. Anyway, he's the sweetest Tito ever but we still call him Kuya Dansel. He has this charm and smile na nakaka-inlove.

Need I say more?Yes, he is my childhood crush and weeks ago, he got married.

I guess this wedding is completely a DIY thing and thanks to Dianne's friends for making it possible.
Kudos Guys! :)

Ampretty naman ni Ate Dianne!:)

Remember I mentioned something about the set of kamag-anak(s) na di ko maalala before kung pano kami naging related? Pinsang buo ni Lola ko yung Lola nila,si Lola Celia. And here they are:

Tita Tess and Family. Si TJ yung son ni Tita Tess, he has his own family na din and I don't know names of the other guys in the pics :)

Here's one of my fave tita, Tita Sally. Siya yung naka-green and he's with his son--Manong mark. I call him Manong Mark kasi he looks older than his age, he's just 20 and his jowa, Hannah is with him. Tita Manel is the one wearing stripes. The kids were Cyril and Sid, my pamangkins na super kukulit. Literal na ginugulo nila ung mga set. As in. :)

Below are my pics with a bunch of fun people. we barely fit sa mga photos but suck it, that's what makes it fun :)

Bride and Groom plus Lola Celia's Amigas :)

My Lolo Kanor and Lola Gunding--Kukunin ko silang Ninang at Ninong sa Kasal. Hahah!

The Kiss. Haaaaaay.. <3

Reception wasn't pricey, it's just right the budget. Parang 50 guests ata yun and we headed to Tramway Buffet Plaza at WCC. Close and Affordable. :)

Here's the video presentation I made for him using https://studio.stupeflix.com/ and it's super easy!

May Forever! :)

Breakfast at Cafe Breton- Greenfield District

Brewed For you!

On our way home from Crame, we dropped by at this "doll house"-like Coffee House and Resto before you reach Fantasy World.

It was simply Amazing.

There were lot's of antiques displayed along the built in cabinets And they really do the talking, there were really interesting pieces in there.

It could've been the perfect spot for photo op, I don't have my instagrammable friends with me. So thanks Tito Dennis for these photos! :)

Clubhouse Sandwich plus Guyabano Shake served in a Muscle Beer Mug for the macho in me!

Floating flower centerpiece
It has been a trend to have a floating flower centerpiece in this area. I haven't been much on this area but I've read lots of blogs! :)

Well designed and maintained patio, they have that dreamy look and home-y feeling. :)

With Tito Dennis

Their All natural Guyabano Shake is a must try!

AlFresco dining at Paradores del Castillo

Paraderos del Castillo's Ancenstral House/Bed and Breakfast Inn and Resto.
Taal's Finest.

Years ago,our house looks not exactly like this kase that would be too bongga. It has capiz on it too, wooden windows--as in malaki and it looks creepy sometimes din. Just like how houses in vintage-y horror movies looks like, I kinda miss it. This one reminded me of how our house used to look like.

Anyways, overall dining experience in this resto:
If I say it was "Great";it'll still be an understatement.
It's cozy, spacious and it looks sosyal pero it's affordable.

My meal costs less that Php200. FYI.

That vintage feels <3
I don't know what's with me and the chandelier but whenever I saw one, I always wanna take a picture.
Then,selfie it is. :)

Pasta Carbonara and Toast Bread plus Red Iced Tea for Kate and Tita Lita.
I've been serving carbonara duting birthday celebrations for years and this taste quite the same as may timpla.

I love the cute parmesan mason jar shaker, the pitcher and wooden coasters too. How i wish I can take them home too. LOL

Puttanesca and Blue Lemonade for Leslie.
I don't eat veggies and fish but I ordered the fish fillet with butter sauce kasi it looks good in the picture kaso I don't know which cam I used, so I don't have the pics of it to show but for someone who doesn't eat fish, I enjoyed it! And that lemon twist is really refreshing and new. Will definitely order one again :)
Soon.

.
 Overlooking Garden. Breathtaking indeed.
There are few scenes that can make me really cray cray about and one of those is the sunset.
That romantic feeling you have, I can stop and stare at this view for hours.

Spacious Al fresco dining area and someof my cousins spotted eating there too with a businessman who's planning to open another cafe in Taal. That sounds exciting! :)

My sister, Kate (Kingking) poses for a mandatory photo op at the garden arch.

and of course my Cousin, Leslie too. :)
